Clear aligners are designed to straighten teeth by applying gentle, consistent pressure to them over a period of time.
At the beginning of the process, Dr. Roth will scan the inside of your mouth to create a digital impression of your teeth and bite. From that scan, he will be able to plan your treatment and determine how much your teeth will need to shift every step of the way.
Based on your treatment plan, your series of custom clear aligners will be made. Each aligner performs a unique role in the treatment process, and gets worn for about two weeks before being switched out for the next aligner in the series until the desired results are achieved.

Clear aligners are designed to be smooth and lightweight. An added benefit to their construction is that without brackets and wires, there is less friction between the appliance and your mouth.
