The Consultation Process

The initial consultation process usually takes about an hour to complete, and will be led by one of our treatment coordinators. We look forward to meeting you!

Arrive & Get Settled

You should arrive ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that you can get settled and fill in any required paperwork. When you get here, you will be greeted by a member of our front reception team.

Feel free to relax in our waiting area when you arrive. When it is time for your appointment to begin, we will show you to a private consultation room.

Assessment & Diagnostic Imaging

At the beginning of your consultation, Dr. Roth will ask you about your concerns and treatment goals. He will also take some 'before' photos so he can track your progress throughout treatment.

Next, we will conduct a thorough exam. This will include some diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, to help us get a comprehensive picture of your overall oral health.

We may use our iTero™ scanner to create a 3D digital replica of your mouth, which can be used down the road when crafting the orthodontic appliance you choose. This scan can also be used to show you a simulation of what your results may look like at the end of your treatment!

Customized Treatment Plan

At this point in the process, you'll meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss your health history (if needed) and review the imaging, outlining indications for orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Roth will diagnose your condition based on the results of his exam and imaging, and develop a customized treatment plan to resolve it.

He, along with our treatment coordinator, will then go through the plan with you and answer any questions you may have about the process.

This plan will include treatment recommendations, a projected timeline, and an appointment schedule.

We'll also discuss a payment game plan for your treatment. This will include any insurance coverage you may be eligible for, and the inclusion of our in-house payment plans should you choose to take advantage of them.

Next Steps

At the end of your appointment, our team will discuss the immediate next steps with you to get your treatment started. We will also schedule your next appointment(s).

We are more than happy to answer any additional questions you may have at this point and provide you with advice, guidance, and support.

We love talking about teeth and will take any opportunity to do so! But more importantly, we know that patients who are fully informed about their treatment have the best success, and that's our goal for you.
